EDIT: I made some minor corrections to the characters that should anchor them into the world a bit more.

Lead On My Friend

Wow, this one took forever...the concept is based off of sketches I had done at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. I spent a good deal of time looking through reference but was very careful not to copy the designs as I wanted to keep the look and feel of everything purely my own. As a result I spent a huge amount of time lost and not knowing where to go next. However after a couple days of going at it, this was the final result.

Perhaps I can reuse those characters for the next illustration.

They're on the ship sailing across a vast ocean and they come across lost drifters on a raft who happen to be a cleric and a templar, and obviously they join forces, because that's just how things work.

The robot would be the tank and can act as a mentor of sorts, but he's chained to the human, so the dynamics of their strained relationship can be explored. The human would obviously be the main character, but he can't actually do anything. He's pretty weak but he holds the key to saving the multiverse, and together they journey to Mordor and fight robot orcs or some shit like that along the way.

A classic hero's tale.

Oh and the templar has very byronic qualities so he should look very very very cool. :D

Really like it. You've inspired me to try make one of my own landscapes come to life. If only I had time now haha. Keep up the good work!
